Tapestry made out of a hundred pieces woven in the lap loom at The Latin American House during the 2024 workshop
Diario textil is a participatory textile project that takes place at the Latin American House in order to explore migrant narratives from the latinx diaspora through woven repurposed materials on the handmade lap loom. The aim is to provide a safe space where to share experiences while creating quality collective textile pieces and improving manual skills. The workshop is free and open to all, with special focus on people that have no experience in the arts and are open to experimentation.
This is a participatory project coordinated by Lucía Scarselletta.
